Ruth teaches workshops in Improv, Drama, Devising, Acting, Public Speaking, Voice, Movement, Character Development, Mime, Trance Mask, Commedia Dell'Arte, Poi Juggling, Object Theatre, Puppetry, Circus, Shakespeare, Meisner, Practical Aesthetics (Mamet), Suzuki, Ensemble, Collective Collaboration, Laban, Stage Combat, Playback Theatre, and Clowning. Her passion is for building social and communication skills that support to upskill and build confidence in individuals, as well as to nurture a positive social change outcome for collective groups.
Ruth has facilitated performance workshops in schools, corporate settings, with theatre companies, performing arts institutions, and youth theatre companies in Canberra, Sydney (including McDonald Performing Arts School and ATYP), Hobart and regional Tasmania schools (Terrapin Puppet Theatre), Uni of NSW & Western Sydney Uni. Ruth has also conducted workshops in regional NSW; including Cowra, Cooma, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, Merimbula, Pambula, & Moruya. Ruth was resident tutor with Canberra Youth Theatre for 10 years, and continues to teach and direct with Impro ACT and Rebus Theatre.
